Nokia 6270 Pc Suite Software
Hey Matt, I did. But it is a bit complicated. I'd list it as detail as possible. Following are the steps. Install PC suite. Make sure it is the latest version that suites both your pc and your mobile phone.
Nokia 6300 pc suite free download - Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Suite, ProSafe for Nokia 6300, and many more programs.
If possible, install PC Suite 6.84.something. (available under Download software section in this website). Follow by that, connect your phone to the computer, in PC Suite, click on 'messages', see if it can work. If it doesnt work, then, go to Nokia PC Suite Main Window, and click on Help, then ' Reinstall PC suite Support' on your phone. Tony oliver.

When you initiate that installation (with the phone connected to pc), the phone will prompt u if u really wanna install the software, press yes ON YOUR PHONE. Once completed installation, while phone still connected to PC, in PC Suite, click on 'Messages', and press F5 keyboard button. The phone and the pc will start to sync and update on messages. If you have alot of sms in ur phone, it might take really long. (mine with 1000 over sms took no less than 20 minutes), if u have more, be patient. However, so far i only manage to view my sms on the Nokia PC Suite.
I cant extract them to text nor excel format (In bulk and organized way). There's software available like 'Noki' on the website. But this is subject to free trial with limited options (i.e.
Per random extraction combining contacts and sms 50 entries each time), and is subject to purchase for full function available. Alternatively, you can, from Nokia PC Suite, drag sms out from the Inbox to some folders in your pc/ hard drive, and u need to enter them entry by entry to sort it out. It's time consuming but so far that's the ' best' solution i found for viewing the sms and extracting it. Do share if u discover something new. Hope this helps. Warmest Regards & Many Thanks, Kvct.
My wild guess is, the software should be the same (basic concept), but different models would have different ' template / platform / function). For instance N95 would work very differently from Nokia 6680. But if the version of ur phone's installation had been phased out, why not, try downloading a version's installation, which the design is similar to urs? For instance, for Nokia 6680, it could be very similar to nokia 6681, or N70 (similar design but probably different 'branding' in different geographical region. Why not scroll around the web to see if there's similar model 's installation still available? Hope that helps.
